In the Mercantour Park, 100 kilometers far from Nice and Riviera, the winter sports resort Isola 2000 is an ideal holiday place for the sportsmen and the party animals. The sportsmen appreciate its 120 kilometers skiable field located between a minimal altitude of 1,800 meters and a maximum altitude of 2,300 meters. The party animals will benefit from the bars, restaurants, bowling and discotheque.
The station Isola 2000 is perfectly equipped to satisfy the sporting customers. 20 ski lifts (10 skis-lift, 7 chair-lifts, 2 telpher carriers and 1 funicular give access to the 42 tracks. The skiable field accommodates the skiers of any levels on its 3 black tracks, 11 red ones, 21 blue ones and 7 green ones. The open snowpark in season, proposes courses for confirmed (half-pipe, slopestyle…) and for beginners. Collective or individual courses of ski, snowboard, excursions with seal skin or rackets are organized by the School of French Ski. The station sport shops sell or rent required clothing and equipment for your stay. In summer, the Isola 2000 flying club organizes introductory lessons for the flight in mountain. 2 structures deal with the children: The crib "Les Pitchoun" receives 15 months old to 4 years old children, and organizes workshops of leisures. In summer, Country Kids deals with the children between 6 and 12 yearsold for the half-day, the day or the week. To lunch or dine, the choice is vast. About twenty establishment which Asian restaurant propose traditional cuisine, Italian specialities or fast-food.
